Most of All

"And I love you nowAnd I hate you nowAnd I miss you most of all All those times we laughedThe scars that you left Still I miss you most of allAnd by the water's side The tall grass where we lied The nights we cried ourselves to sleep Most Septembers now I break down somehow Remebering all we said And all those dreams we never got to see." - C. Bell

I miss you beyond the words that are used to describe human emotion.

I'm always wanting you.

I'm RE-Stressing the importance of the "Nice Guys Finish Last" piece

Nice guys finish last.... so being an asshole would be the obvious choice of us who are starting over in college.... yeah. That was what the idea should've been right? So much for that. I hold the door open for everyone... I try to compliment everyone [except reid... he's a prick]. I try to tell people what I think. I just always don't get it. Looks like I'm the asshole now. Thanks for the advice my fellow assholes. Just remember... park in handicap spaces while handicap people make handicap faces.

College

College IS all it's cracked up to be. FUN FUN FUN. Just gotta make time for schoolwork.

The Misrepresentation Of Love

"To define love is madness. To impress upon it some regulated understanding is to deny its purpose and its promise. Love chooses us. And though we have attempted in vain throughout the ages to unlock its mysteries, we are still helpless in its grasp. Born man or woman, straight or gay, love chooses us and we follow. If you believe that the God you worship personifies love then love in any form cannot be wrong. It is wholly contradictory to espouse the virtues of a universal love and yet disqualify those that do not fit within certain parameters. That is not love, unfortunately, but it’s corruption. What deity would be so callous as to exclude those who do not meet specific “requirements of love”? What person would, in the same breathe, declare that God is love and then deny the love of those that they consider “corrupted”? Love and forgiveness are inseparable. To forgive is divine they say, and yet forgiveness isn’t something many of us care to practice. Battles are being fought in nations throughout the world to ensure that same sex marriage is not legally recognized by people who are obviously so detached from the truths of love and forgiveness as to be in peril of supporting the opposite. What arrogance must one possess to declare themselves the representative of such a powerful and universal thing? What person willingly denies and defames the love of complete strangers because of some personal insecurity or religious bigotry? How dare any of us undermine love? To define love is madness. To defy it? Even more so. If ever there was a time for us to embrace the world’s most powerful weapon and declare war, it’s now. Because to embrace the idea that the law and love are two separate issues is not the sort of inheritance that our children deserve. One has absolutely everything to do with the other, no matter who decries otherwise."

I couldn't agree more. Let things go their course, what was meant to be... will.

Most Of All

"and I love you now and I hate you now and I miss you most of all" - C. Bell

I found myself staring at my calendar today... Don't ask me why. But I've realized that this summer went by too quick. Two weeks and I'm off to college with my bags packed and my shoes tied tight I hope I don't get in a fight. But no more riding the twinky to school : ( O well. I've still to win at mini-golf. I've still to win at real golf for that matter. I still haven't said any of my goodbye's to the more distant friends that I had over the past few years. I haven't seen almost any of my family in the past few weeks, and I haven't been able to have fun with the people who I have the most fun with. No offense to the other guys. McDonald's at 2 am was kinda cool... Re-living all the childhood moments that we've almost forgotten, all the good times that are lost in our heads because of the years of schoolwork building up and exploding are brains.... Not really. Times used to be so much simpler. No girls [well still no girls for me], no war, no politics, no worries, just fun. Football in the backyard, snow football and brawls in my backyard, kickball, basketball and Homerun Derby at timmy's. End of the summer game-day down at the park. Sledding and snow tubing, little league, and biddy basketball. I can't believe this is what it took for me to realize all that I'm leaving behind... hell... I haven't hit middle school with these throw back memories. Friday night W~boro football games... You know... When the high school kids were still intimidating to us [and don't lie, you were scared shitless]. Middle School hit... Dear god those were the days when I was in the top 10 students in our class. Yea. Who would've thought. I wish I could bring a few of those days back. I was quite the class loser, and geek. But hey... The shell changes, not the inside. Star Wars: Episode I. The days when Griffey was hitting 40 HR's a season. : P those were the days. The Yankees winning against the Braves... The macarena... Camping... Nintendo 64... Being Jordan & O'Neal... Hiking... Just having fuckin ridiculous fun.
Now all the innocence is gone. We'll never be able to use our imagination as colorfully, smile so widely, laugh so uncontrollably, and know... Your best friends are there.

I love all you guys. Thanks.
