The Worst Day Ever...

Today... one year removed from my worst day ever. Yesterday was the one year anniversary of the last Scharf "Applefest", which is always fun whenever a family as eccentric as the Scharf's get together. Anyway, we all know what the usual routine is on the way out to Albany, meet at exit 31 around 9am, and then BOLT down the highway racing each other to the same destination.... goddam that Avalon was fast, lol, too bad it was never driven by a good driver.
Last year's Applefest was different from all the rest, we all knew that it would be the last one myself or andrea would get to attend for a while [college is kind of in the way]. Applefest was always fun: Matt, Chris, David, Joe, Allie, Lauren, Jillian, Adam and Kat. All the cousins attended. [usually]. And last year was especially special because it was the first time we were blessed with little Aidan James. [Way to go Uncle Spot]. Then there was the rest of the family, which, in itself, can keep you entertained for months straight. As some people figured out.... sorry about that Princess. Still loved every second of it, even at when the farm animals did try to eat my hand... ewww gross. Plus I had my big sunglasses. Badmitton is the name of the game... we never lose though. Then, last year, we decided, HEY why not get a little football game going out in the street? Well we all know why it was a bad idea now... Deena can't stop tackling people!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She nearly killed my poor little cousin David Andrew, he's now scared for life. Poor kid. Even though I do feel a little guilt, letting her play in the first place was my fault, I know her linebacker tendencies, 2 times. Well there's a bunch of good memories from September 27th, 2003. Probably another reason why the downfall on the next day was even worse.

I still remember it like it was yesterday.................................................

Mike Goes To College Pt 1

College is a month old now...

I'm not to sure I can keep up the pace of rapid destruction that I'm on right now...
"Count up all the ways that you could waste away"
School kinda gets in the way of fun. We al know that as a fact, but now since you get more freedom you begin to realize how sucky school really is. You're thankful that you're here... but then again... you know that papers and midterms are gonna get here way too quick.

I'm home for the weekend... so if anybody wants to go out and have sum fun....
